Did you know that Paul saved DJ Mark Ronson from drowning in the Long Island Sound when Mark was just a little lad?
Well neither did Mark!
He had heard tales from his mother that eluded to a saviour-beatle, but assumed it was one of his mom├óΓé¼Γäós ├óΓé¼┼ôcrazy stories├óΓé¼┬¥…
Until he recently recorded a song with the famed ex-Beatle!
Mark recently revealed:
├óΓé¼┼ôI did a song with Paul McCartney a few months ago. After a couple of days in the studio, he came in and said, ‘Your mum’s Ann, right? Me and Linda would always run into your parents on the beach in Long Island.’
I told him about my mum’s story that he saved me from drowning one time, and he said he vaguely remembered something like that. So maybe he backed up her claim, which means I can’t really tease her about it now.”
And what makes this story even stranger is that both Mark and Paul are British… yet they both summered in Long Island!
Ah, life has all sorts of quirky connections!
