Not long after Justin Bieber graced the cover of Billboard, it looks like his protégée, Carly Rae Jepsen, has received the honor as well!

Gurl has been SLAYING the Billboard charts lately, with her infectious single Call Me Maybe currently sitting pretty at number ONE on the Hot 100!!!
As for how Carly Rae feels about the newfound fame and success?
The songstress reveals:
├óΓé¼┼ôPretty much every day, there├óΓé¼Γäós a moment where I├óΓé¼Γäóm having to pinch myself and think, ├óΓé¼╦£When did this happen to my life?├óΓé¼Γäó What I really love about music is that, despite all this craziness the creative process remains the same. And that same exciting feeling that I had before anybody knew me, when I was just beginning to work on ├óΓé¼╦£Call Me Maybe,├óΓé¼Γäó is the same feeling I had today with RedFoo from LMFAO.”
The Biebs recently took fellow Canadian Carly Rae under his wings when he signed her to his and manager Scooter Braun’s label, Schoolboy Records.
Scooter recalls:
“I sat down Carly in my backyard and said, ‘This is not going to be fun. You’re going to be so tired,’ And she looked at me and said, ‘Scooter, I don’t care how hard I have to work. I’m going to do it. This is what I’ve wanted my entire life.’”
Soon, Jepsen will embark on a MASSIVE North American tour as she opens for Justin, starting this September and running through January 2013!
Talk about being skyrocketed into the music machine!!!
