What Happened To Sage Stallone?

We wonder if we’ll ever know exactly what was going on with this young man before this awful tragedy occurred.
Sylvester Stallone‘s son, Sage, was found dead in his Hollywood Hills home this past Friday, and while many reports have detailed that the 36-year-old was surrounded by pill bottles and liquor in his bedroom, where his body may have been untouched for over three days, a variety of sources have come forward, maintaining very DIFFERENT accounts of what could have happened.
Stallone’s lawyer, George Braunstein, has claimed that despite allegations that his client’s body being possibly dead for several days before discovery, he had posted photos of himself at home only 17 hours before being found!
Furthermore, he maintains that Sage wasn’t even a drinker, let alone interested in pills!
He says:

“Sage didn’t even drink. There was a report that his room was filled with liquor bottles. Actually, they were empty bottles of Dr. Brown’s Cream Soda. Sage was a really young, very sensitive, and very talented kid. There has been no indication that there was anything wrong in his life. He was a very independent person and spent a lot of time on his own writing and researching and watching movies. He knew everything about movies. The man was a walking encyclopedia of film. It was remarkable, even a little weird how much he knew. He could talk volumes about a movie you had never even known existed.”

However, Robert Rhine, the editor-in-chief of Girls and Corpses and who photographed Sage back in May for the publication, tells an entirely different, much darker story.
According to him, the young man took 45 minutes to answer his door, and when he did, he was clearly on something, and acting “very similar to Ozzy Osbourne.” The house was a mess, and apparently, he even tried taking photos with the lens cap still on.
Rhine concludes:

“What├óΓé¼Γäós troubling is the fact that the people around him claim there were no signs. I saw the signs. When everyone from the shoot heard the news, none of us were surprised.”

Inneresting…because sources with law enforcement claimed that his neighbors held the exact same sentiment when they found out what happened.
So incredibly sad.
We suppose at this point the only thing anyone can do is wait until the coroner has concluded the autopsy, which just began today, to determine the cause of death.

Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to his family and loved ones during this impossibly difficult time.
