Quentin Tarantino is the LAST person we’d expect to be the biggest fan ever of How I Met Your Mother.
After all, there’s like zero violence or profanity on that show, but the candid director says he absolutely loves the show!
LOVES IT!!!
Here’s what he said:
“Hands down, my favorite show is How I Met Your Mother. I’ve been watching that since the very first episode, so that’s the one show that I always keep watching.”
But Mr. Tarantino admits that his television watching isn’t up to par these days. Why? Because it was taking up too much of his time!
He explains:
“For a while, about six years ago, I was watching a lot of the serialized television shows. I had to cut them out because I stopped going to movies because I was always caught up in four different serialized shows and the box set for this one and that one. I had to go, ‘Look, I ain’t about that. I’m about movies. I’d rather go out to the theaters.'”
Wait, that just gave us a brilliant idea.
What if Tarantino created a show for television? Would that not be the greatest thing ever? Tell us you wouldn’t watch that. We dare ya.
