Uma Thurman's The Key To The Cure

On Friday, actress Uma Thurman was named the ambassador of Saks Fifth Avenue’s Annual Key to the Cure event. The annual event will take place this year from October 21-24 and will help raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
The new ambassador said of the cause:

“Everyone I know has been affected by breast cancer one way or the other. It is vital that we work toward a cure as well as develop more accurate and advance testing.”

As part of her new gig, Uma will appear in the print ads and national PSAs wearing a limited-edition t-shirt designed by Donna Karan.
All proceeds from the $35 shirt will be donated to local charities and will be available starting October 1st.
