The couture and fashion obsessed Daphne Guinness is the new face of Nars cosmetics’ fall campaign, meaning Marcel the dog is out of a job.
François Nars said he chose his longtime friend because she has incredible style. He adds:
“She fits the image of the brand so well. She├óΓé¼Γäós very creative and elegant and is a chameleon. And she really loves makeup ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ the whole process of it. Any makeup artist dreams of having someone like that as a muse.”
In the new ad, Daphne is wearing a purple eyeshadow that was named after her. François explains:
“When I started thinking about colors that meant Daphne to me, purple felt right ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ and when I tried it on her at the shoot, I immediately knew it needed to be named for her.”
She does look pretty fierce in that picture.
