New Self Esteem Act Seeks Truth In Advertising

Seth Matlins, former head of marketing at CAA and CMO of Live Nation, and his wife Eva Matlins want the truth — in advertising.
The couple is campaigning for the Self Esteem Act, which aims to put “Truth in Advertising” labels on ads and editorials that have been photoshopped or airbrushed to a meaningful degree.
The campaign is not against the art of photoshopping, but its about being truthful and honest with how we portray the human form in the media so that the girls and women, boys and men, are not misled into feeling like they need to live up to an ideal that is not real.
What do U think of the initiative? Good idea? Bad idea?
