We don’t think we could’ve ever seen this coming!
Sure, we’re used to seeing musicians, actors, and other assorted celebs in advertisements for big-name brands, but we would’ve never made a connection between Beck and Saint Laurent.
Although, now that we think about it, creative director Hedi Slimane did tap Citizens! frontman Tom Burke to star in part one of the S/S 2013 campaign, so Beck as the second male musician face for the brand is not that weird.
Okay, it’s still pretty weird.
However, we will admit that Beck looks pretty haute in the moody black and white shots styled and taken by Slimane himself.
And the brand’s rock ‘n’ roll aesthetic of skinny ties, tailored blazers, and black fedoras suit him well.
