Instead of feeding each other cake at the reception, recently married Hong Kong couples will now be stuffing Big Macs into each others’ faces post-nuptials! LOL!
Starting January 1 of next year, Hong Kong will create McDonald’s wedding packages for couples who want to get an inexpensive marriage. The packages will include a baked apple pie wedding cake, a dress made out of party balloons, kiddie party favors for guests, and food served up fresh from McDonald’s. Because it’s a family venue, drinking will not be allowed.
The wedding will only cost a few thousand in Hong Kong currency, providing a much cheaper alternative for couples on a budget.
This is maybe the silliest and greatest thing ever! Weddings can be crazy expensive, so even though having a wedding at McDonald’s sounds nuts, it’s better than spending your life savings somewhere else!
