Jamie Oliver Gets An Apology From David Letterman

Jamie Oliver gets an apology

Jamie Oliver appeared on The Late Show With David Letterman last night to promote his new book and got an apology from the host regarding his comments last time the TV chef stopped by.

Last March, when Oliver began his fight against obesity in the United States, David Letterman gave him a hard time, insisting his food revolution would not work and no matter what he did Americans will weigh 500 pounds one day.

Of course, while apologetic, Letterman still kept a comedic tone, saying:

“You’re not really mad at me. How can you be mad at me, because I’m right, and you’re doing what you can do to fight this.”

Oliver then explained he was not mad, but was looking forward to “Daddy Letterman” to endorse his food revolution, but was disappointed when the host said it wouldn’t work.

Jamie, we’re glad you’re out there raising awareness for obesity and encouraging healthy eating. Keep fighting the good fight!

Viva la revolucion!
