Looking to spice things up this Valentines Day? Why not start in the kitchen?
Don’t be dirty – we’re talking about cooking!
Certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, Margaux J. Rathbun gave us some nutrition tips that’ll have you in the bed room for by dessert. (that was dirty)
Naughty Nutrition Tips:
1. Want to boost your sex drive? Try cooking with basil; it’s been said to increase fertility. Use it with homemade pesto spreads and chicken dishes.
2. Listen up, guys! Pick up a BIG bottle of almond oil. The scent of almonds has been said to arouse the ladies – for ages, they have symbolized fertility. You may be able to impress your date or mate by cooking a meal at home and slipping in some of this scandalous oil. Meow!
3. Get things pumpin’ with ginger. This well-known spice gets the circulatory system flowing. Its spicy flavor is great in salads or even cooked with fish. Ginger also helps with digestion. We all know how un-sexy it is to feel bloated and full.
4. Sugar, spice and everything nice? Not when you’re cooking with nutmeg! A sprinkle of nutmeg on your dinner, dessert, or even your date is sure to raise their body temperature and heat up the evening. Add it to a hot cup of coco or coffee for an after-dinner treat and watch the clothes melt off.
5. Given this fruit’s shape, it’s not shocking to learn that bananas are said to stimulate the sex drive in men. Besides being loaded with potassium, magnesium and B vitamins, they also contain components that help arouse the boys. Go bananas, ladies!
