Although Dancing With The Stars‘ dancer Derek Hough is taking time off from the hit show this season to star in the film Cobu 3D, he is already planning on making a big comeback.
Anticipating his return to the dance floor this fall, he said:
“I told the told the producers I’m going to come back with a few new tricks.”
New tricks? The dancer and choreographer says he is learning the new moves from the set of his new film, explaining:
“I’m learning so much. I’ve been teaching so long and it’s interesting because now I’m like the student. The role I’m playing required me to do things I haven’t done before. I’m doing a lot of tapping, which is interesting because I’m not much of a tapper.”
Despite his absence, he hasn’t lost his competitive attitude and jokingly said:
“I told [Maksim Chmerkovskiy], ‘Here you go buddy, now that I’m gone you can have this one.'”
A little cocky are we, Derek? Hopefully you can back it up!
