A new crop of allegations that Lance Armstrong used performance-enhancing drugs as he trained to compete in the Tour de France over decade ago have surfaced.
Tyler Hamilton, former cycling teammate, claims he saw Armstrong using an endurance-boosting drug on several occasions to prepare for the Tour de France races in 1999, 2000, and 2001.
Lance didn’t waste any time denying the claims on twitter:
20+ year career. 500 drug controls worldwide, in and out of competition. Never a failed (drug) test. I rest my case.
