Infected Apple Slices Recalled From McDonald's And More!

Many fast food places have taken to offering pre-sliced apples as a healthy side.
Well some of the pre-sliced apples might be infected with listeria.
McDonalds, Burger King and several grocery stores are among those affected by the recall.
Listeria is a dangerous bacteria that can get you really really sick.
The voluntary recall is from Ready Pac Foods Inc. who have sent hundreds of thousands of cases of apples to 36 different states.
The bacteria can cause listeriosis which is very dangerous to pregnant women, the elderly and those with compromised immune systems.
So next time you go out for fast food… maybe skip the apple slices.
