Aww! So sad!
The heavy snowfall on the eastern United States is causing all sorts of havoc and most recently killed 85,000 hens after snowfall caused the roof of their coop to collapse.
The chicken coop collapsed Jan. 27 at the Kofkoff Egg Farm in Bozrah, a small town southeast of Hartford.
In similar tragedies, back-to-back snowstorms and a recent ice storm have brought down the roofs of more than 130 barns, greenhouses, equipment buildings killing more than a dozen dairy cows, two horses and even a calf.
Let’s hope the weather calms down and gives these hardworking farmers and poor animals a break!
