Now that Kate Plus 8 has been officially canceled, Kate Gosselin is seriously worried about the financial future of her family.
Kate says she doesn’t know what her family is going to do:
“I’m freaking out. Big time. I’ve never quit a job in my life without having something else lined up. I don’t know what’s next. I told them [her kids] I will work my fingers to the bone to make sure that they can stay here and go to their school. There are no guarantees in life for anyone, but they know that I’m giving it my best shot.”
Kate’s kids, twins Cara and Mady, and sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah and Joel have been followed around by cameras since 2005. You’d think they’d be ready for a publicity break but according to Kate the kidies “weren’t ready,” to leave the show.
This is all so sad. A family really shouldn’t be involved in a situation like this in the first place – but someone had to have known that the novelty of six adorable kids was going to sooner or later wear.
The final episode of Kate Plus 8 airs September 12th on TLC.
