James McAvoy does NOT appreciate interruptions. Particularly during theatre performances.
The Scottish actor, who has taken up the role of the murderous king in Shakespeare├óΓé¼Γäós Macbeth, paused the Trafalgar Studios’ live theatre performance in London to keep an audience member from filming the the play on his phone! YIKES!
The last time James stepped out of character during this production — yep, he├óΓé¼Γäós done this more than once — he played hero to a theatre-goer who had collapsed!
Trafalgar Studios released the following statement:

“An audience member was caught filming by the actor James McAvoy. The filming disrupted the production of Macbeth, forcing James McAvoy to respond to audience member by asking them to stop filming immediately. The production then continued as planned once the camera was put away.”

Okay, but really, can you blame him?? We’d be pretty pissed, too. Do what you gotta do, James!
