A Texas non-profit organization has a unconventional way of bringing abandoned animals to new homes!
They enlist the help of truck drivers!
Which makes a lot of sense when you think about it!
They’re always on the road anyway, why not bring a furry companion along the way to keep them both company!
Here’s what the founder said:
“We├óΓé¼Γäóre a ragtag group of pet lovers who want to help pets who already have a home to go to, give them some T.L.C., and a hitchhike to get there.”
The founder started the organization in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina left tons of animals abandoned.
Here’s what the founder said:
├óΓé¼┼ôMy heart was just breaking from all the stories about the pets. I was driving down the road and I was praying, ├óΓé¼╦£Lord, what can I do? I├óΓé¼Γäóm just a truck driver.├óΓé¼Γäó And then I heard one word: Transport.”
And now thanks to this organization – lots of animals are saved nowadays!
