And so do we!
H&M made a bold, yet understated move, by using a normal-sized model to show off their new beachwear line.
Model Jennie Runk, a size 12 if you need to know, has been plastered all over H&M’s website to model their new swimwear and the pics are AH-Mazing!
After being criticized for years for hiring “unhealthily thin” models, it seems they finally found to way to feature “a model who can illustrate this collection in an inspiring and clear way.”
And, the cool thing about it is that it’s no big deal!
The brand refused to make a huge hoopla about their choice of using a woman with a normal body, but that still means it didn’t go unnoticed. And, why should it, really? Jennie is gorgeous, the pictures are breathtaking, and it makes us just want to support their line even more.
Bravo, H&M!
Oh, and P.S. the ads are SUCH a hit, the pieces have been selling out like hotcakes on the H&M website!
