Once again, a troubled star has gotten away with breaking the law!
Amanda Bynes got VERY lucky in a Burbank courtroom earlier today when she pled no contest to one count of driving with a suspended license and got a second charged DISMISSED all together on the same offense.
While Amanda wasn’t present, her attorney, Richard Hutton, entered the plea for her.
Amanda’s punishment will be three years of informal probation as well as an order to have a valid driver’s license and insurance at ALL TIMES when driving in California.
We’d like to hope this would be the first and LAST time the troubled starlet would be (metaphorically, at least) in front of a judge, but we can’t forget the two misdemeanor charges that were paid off dismissed in December after a hit and run.
AND Amanda STILL could face criminal charges for her DUI arrest last year.
SHEESH!
This sounds all too much like the beginnings of Lindsay Lohan‘s legal dramz.
Let’s just cross our fingers that gurlfriend gets the help she needs so her downward spiral can FINALLY come to an end!
