Kate Middleton rightly treads a fine line between classy and trendy with her outfit choices.
She has the ever judgmental eyes of the world on her, so she can’t just bust out a leopard-print cut-out gown for high tea with Her Majesty.
Roberto Cavalli probably wouldn’t mind if she did, though! Especially if the gown in question was designed by his flesh-loving Italian hands.
The couturier recently admitted he wants the Duchess to get more provocative with her clothing, saying:
“A princess should be sexy. She is young, she is beautiful – I would like to create something special for her, but nothing too bold. I would like to prove to the world that Roberto Cavalli can dress a princess. Maybe I would use a print, keeping it young, sophisticated and sexy. Just because you are a queen or princess it doesn’t mean you can’t be sexy.”
He makes a good point, and it IS possible to be seksi and still leave something to the imagination.
But we can’t quite picture Kate in a typical Cavalli number.
On the other hand, anything is possible!
