Girlfriend can do it all!
Demi Lovato might have hit a rough patch a couple years ago, but few people have ever bounced back so much stronger!
And now it’s all up from here because she’s not only setting the music industry on fire with her new album, but she’s also speaking out and being heard.
Demi had plenty to talk about with Fashion magazine including how she’s trying to not only empower herself but so many other young girls.
She explained:
“Guys can be scandalous and not get any crap for it. In my song [Something We├óΓé¼Γäóre Not], I├óΓé¼Γäóm saying, ‘girls, have your fun├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥don├óΓé¼Γäót let anyone let you feel bad about your actions. Ever.'”
And feeling bad is still something she’s struggling to get past.
DemDem got brutally honest about dealing with the affects of her childhood bullies, but it sure sounds like she’ll come out on top. She said:
“I could remember word for word what my bullies said to me. Last night I had nightmares about it├óΓé¼┬ªjust degrading things that hurt me and affected self-esteem. It affected the way I look at girls my age. I used to fear them.”
There’s nothing to fear, DemDem! So many girls your age are also your fans!
Be proud!
