When will Canada’s version of rock royalty make it official!?
They wrote a wedding song and threw a super swanky wedding shindig in Cannes, but — despite rumors swirling around saying the knot was officially tied — Avril Lavigne and Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger are NOT yet married.
Earlier today, outlets reported that the two pulled the trigger while no one was looking, but that speculation was premature!!
A source close to the couple confirmed:
“[Chad and Avril are] technically not married yet.”
Aww!!! We’re soooo tired of waiting, LOLz!!!
We want to see a Photograph of Chad and the When You’re Gone gal walking down the aisle in her wonderful white dress!!!
According to another source, the lovely lovers threw an “extremely intimate” gathering in Cannes with their “close friends and family.” Was there cake!??! We don’t know! But the same source says the ceremony is July 1 — that’s today/tonight!!!
