Like it or not, Lindsay Lohan is a movie star.
Sure, she’s had some troubles that have put her in the kind of spotlight no celeb likes to find themselves in. But despite her semi-fall from grace, we can cut her some slack if she happens to get a bit bossy on the set every now and then.
After all, the girl knows how it’s done! She’s been in front of the camera her whole life!
The writer on LiLo’s latest flick, The Canyons, admits she wasn’t so shy when it came to speaking her mind during filming. Bret Easton Ellis enjoyed his time working with Lindz but confessed that the diva in her did come out a few times! And he thinks he might know why! Bret revealed:
“She├óΓé¼Γäós a very mixed up 20-something, but very knowledgeable about film and composition and lighting and hitting your mark. She was sometimes bossy. I don├óΓé¼Γäót know if that├óΓé¼Γäós the Adderall, but I genuinely liked her.”
Since shipping off to rehab, Lindsay has reportedly kicked her Adderall habit in one of her first steps toward sobriety. And we think staying drug-free is EXACTLY how she’ll be able to make her successful comeback!
Lohan is already getting some great reviews for her work in The Canyons, which comes as no surprise to Mr. Ellis. He saw Lindsay’s talent shine through on day one, saying:
“When she did our first table read, she blew me away. She was late, she was a little scattered, we had nervous small talk, and then she turned it on immediately. I don├óΓé¼Γäót see her as lost. I know a lot of 20-somethings and they├óΓé¼Γäóre all messed up. But when you├óΓé¼Γäóre out in the public, you├óΓé¼Γäóre magnified 100 percent, and I can understand how you├óΓé¼Γäód go a little bit further.”
Get ready, world! We have a feeling LiLo is a changed woman for REAL this time!
