Photogs got a peek at the wild Katy Perry in her natural habitat Thursday.
The last of her species, KatyKat was hunting prey filming a music video for the HIGHLY anticipated Roar — her daring new single, due out August 12!

We think it’s charming that she and John Mayer are duetting together on his new album, but nothing beats a good ol’ Katy single featuring herself strong and solo!!

UPDATE: We’ve just received word that the raven-haired vixen in question is not actually Katy Perry, despite reports (and the striking resemblance), but whoever it is (stunt woman?) … gurrrl, you are hot! Ha!
