How Katy Perry Is Dealing With 'Horribly Painful' Ruby Rose Allegations - Will Justin Trudeau Leave Her?

Katy Perry is pushing on as she continues to grapple with Ruby Rose’s horrifying allegations… but she’s reportedly starting to let fear set in.

As we’ve been following, Ruby recently accused the I Kissed a Girl singer of once “rubb[ing] her disgusting v****a on my face” while the pair were under the influence of alcohol at Australian night club Spice Market nearly two decades ago. Ruby has since filed police report against the pop star, and an Australian investigation is officially underway as she is not protected by a statute of limitations in Victoria, Australia, where the alleged incident occurred. Jacqueline Harris, a rep for the state’s Office of Public Prosecution, told TMZ:

“There is no statute of limitations on prosecuting indictable (serious) crimes in Victoria. The law at the time the alleged [offense] was committed applies to criminal proceedings and sentencing for historical [offenses].”

As of now, Katy has categorically denied the allegations, and has not been charged as no evidence has been made public. But she’s reportedly starting to feel the fiery situation burn one major area of her life: her relationship with Justin Trudeau.

On Tuesday, an insider described the situation as “horribly painful” for Katy, who is said to be worried about how the former Canadian Prime Minister may navigate things. But for now, he’s in her corner:

“Justin is being 100 percent supportive, but it’s still a horribly painful situation. Katy can’t help but worry about how it could impact things with him. He has his own image to protect.”

The insider continued:

“Katy is confident that she will be cleared — but it’s still a nightmare.”

Yeah, that’s definitely a tough one…

Last month, a Canadian society source told Page Six the pair had been living in bliss up until the troubling allegations surfaced, marking the “first challenge they’ve faced since they’ve been together.” The source claimed Justin, a vocal women’ s advocate, is in an “awkward situation.”

“Justin was known as a pro-woman prime minister. He had gender equality in his cabinet, he’s been linked to these kinds of social issues, so this could put a little bit of a dent into their coupledom.”
