Katy Perry is possibly the hardest-working woman in showbiz right now, what with her album release coming in just a few days, her singles slaying on iTunes, her Killer Queen perfume kicking all kinds of ass, and NOW her new role as a CoverGirl spokesmodel!
Are we even worthy?!
The 28-year-old showcased the first pic from the upcoming campaign on Twitter, and said:

Oh, Katy, YOU SPOIL US SO GOOD! And though this first look is soft and clean, we can expect brighter and bolder makeup styles in the later ads!
In a statement, Katy also spoke about what this new gig means for her, saying:
“In addition to music, I’ve always considered makeup to be a powerful creative avenue of self-expression. I’m honored to partner with CoverGirl and share more colors and textures of my approach to beauty to inspire my audience.”
And the brand’s VP Esi Eggleston Bracey had this to add:
“Katy is the embodiment of a true CoverGirl — someone we root for, identify with, and get inspiration from. We have been admirers of her music and her style for a long time, and are looking forward to a beautiful journey together.”
