Did Miley Cyrus move her tongue out of the way and stick her foot in her mouth?
People are still talking about the We Can’t Stop singer’s raunchy VMAs performance, but was the now infamous number the only thing worth remembering about the show?
Miley seems to think so! Defending her solo performance and duet with Robin Thicke, she said:
“When people started complaining about the awards show, I was like, ‘Have you never seen the f*cking video?’ And what if I hadn’t done that performance? The VMAs would have been bad. They would have been missing something. The show was kind of making fun of how serious the pop industry is.”
It would’ve been bad if not for her? Ouch!
We’re thinking gurl has had to defend herself a little too much lately and accidentally went a little overboard this time!
We’re sure Miley didn’t mean to bash Katy Perry, Kanye West, and even Justin Timberlake‘s N*SYNC reunion.
After all, just because Miley is on top, doesn’t mean she needs to ride that Wrecking Ball into everyone else!
