Ugh! We had no idea Miz Minogue was an infinite sadness type of gal!
Kylie Minogue was on Capital FM‘s breakfast show earlier this week and the pretty pop star shared a cray cray story about the time Pharrell came into the studio to record with her!
Apparently the 45-year-old Australian was having a totally crappy day and she “burst into tears” after he arrived! In fact, things got so bad she almost canceled the whole collaboration!
Kylie konfessed:
“[I almost canceled] because I was having the worst day, you know… when you’re having one of those days. Everything was too much! So my second day going in I was literally talking to myself saying, ‘Keep it together, this is a very important day, it’s Pharrell’… And then I burst into tears as soon as I got there. … That’s why he wrote ‘I Was Gonna Cancel’ because I really didn’t feel like going, but I kind of had to go.”
Oh, yikes! That sounds bad!
Turns out she didn’t cancel, though! They recorded two different songs, one for each of their albums!!
All things considered, it sounds like Kylie was happy with her decision to go ahead and work with the groundbreaking and gloriously hatted Grammy winner.
She continued:
“It was a dream come true because I’ve wanted to work with him for a long time.”
Yay! We can’t get you out of our head wait to hear the new songs!!
