Here come the denials right on time!
Rumors of Anna Wintour grooming Sarah Jessica Parker to eventually replace her at Vogue have quickly been shot down.
A rep for the magazine said:
“Anna and Sarah Jessica have been friends for a long time and the idea of Sarah Jessica taking Anna’s position at Vogue has never been discussed.”
Sadsies!
Unfortunately, SJP’s rep also chimed in with an ugly “false!”
BUT… if the possibility of a rumor being true was directly proportional to the speed with which it was denied, this one would totally be 100% accurate! LOLz!
Ya never know what could happen down the line, folks.
For now though, we’ll just have to content ourselves with seeing SJP in the pages of Vogue as an actress and not an editor.
