Blake Lively knows the whole internet has a lot of thoughts about her! But when she stepped out at the Met Gala on Monday, she was confident AF!
The Gossip Girl star was an invited guest of Vogue and was seated at Anna Wintour‘s table. According to previous reports, she was planning to attend, whether or not she’d wrapped up her legal battle with Justin Baldoni. It just so happens that news broke only hours before she hit the carpet that they reached a settlement. It was the perfect chance for her to step back into the spotlight, and even though she’s taken a beating online and in the industry amid her legal ordeal, she wasn’t stressing behind the scenes.

A People insider told the outlet on Tuesday that the actress appeared “strong, confident, fearless” on the red carpet, adding that she was “standing strong.” Good for her! It couldn’t have been easy knowing all the commentary her sighting would spark!
Inside the event, she was “chatting” with others and “didn’t avoid anybody or any conversations,” the confidant detailed:
“She smiled, and she looked comfortable.”
It helps that Anna wanted her there herself! That would boost anyone’s ego!!
Hopefully she wasn’t too bummed when she got home and realized the internet was fighting over her potentially “bossy” behavior on the carpet! Oof!
