She may have 99 problems, but at least Solange isn’t one! Ha! Yeah, we went there.
Anyway, La Wintour is asking to be dismissed as a defendant named in a strange lawsuit filed in 2012 by lawyer Gerard Corsini, who claimed that the Vogue editor, along with NYC police commission Ray Kelly and former NYC mayor Michael Bloomberg, worked to “deprive [him] of rights…including in retaliation for the exercise of [his] clearly established First Amendment rights to speak about and document through public photography public commercial activities.”
Carsini alleges in his lawsuit that he was insulted by Vogue employees during a June 2011 photo shoot that took place at socialite Betsy Morgan‘s home, and that when he called to the magazine’s offices to complain, nobody called him back. He also wanted $20 million in damages from Wintour and Conde Nast.
Wintour’s defense team has argued that there are no real allegations against the editor and have asked for charges to be dismissed.
