Zendaya May Feel Backlash For Landing Aaliyah's Role, But She Gets All The Love From Madonna! See Her HAWT New Material Girl Ads HERE!

Zendaya has had to deal with a LOT of critics over the past few days.
In case you haven’t heard, she was cast to play Aaliyah in the late singer’s biopic, and apparently not even Aaliyah’s family approves!
But the 17-year-old still has the support of at least one mega-star — Madonna!
The Queen of Pop chose Zendaya to star in her latest Material Girl ad campaign, and had nothing but good things to say about the singer. She stated:

“Zendaya exudes a confident, free spirit. We love having her as the new face of Material Girl.”

And not only does Z have Madonna’s backing, she’s also gotten the stamp of approval from Lourdes Leon!
Madonna’s daughter gushed:

“I love how Zendaya makes her own style rules to fit her personality ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ that├óΓé¼Γäós who Material Girl is all about, being yourself to the fullest.”

So much positivity!!
Obviously, Zendaya was just as excited to contribute to the brand and follow in Rita Ora‘s footsteps.
She raved:

“I am so excited to be chosen by Madonna and Lola as the new face of Material Girl; they are such a dynamic mother / daughter duo. Material Girl embraces having fun with fashion and being confident in your own skin… and who does that better than Madonna?”

See?!
This gurl totally knows what she’s talking about!!
