Superstud and reigning Mirror Ball Trophy champ Maksim Chmerkovskiy is departing DWTS and will NOT be back for the show’s 19th season!
Noooooo!!!
Maks made his announcement on The View this morning, explaining that his time on the reality series has come to an end.
Chmerkovskiy said:
“I’m done dancing. I feel like it’s time. When I came back to the show, it was not the same. I was different, probably. I looked at it and thought, ‘they can do much more and better.’ I was taking up a huge spot.├óΓé¼┬¥
Maybe he wants to have more time to spend with his apparent lady love, Jennifer Lopez?!?
Maksim first appeared on the ABC show way back in Season 2 and has missed several seasons since he started. But this sounds like he’s hanging up his dancing shoes for good this time!
Sigh. Today is a sad day for all lovers of gyrating shirtless men.
Oh well. At least we still have his equally hunky brother Val Chmerkovskiy to look at!
