And it begins!!
Seth Meyers was picked to host the 2014 Emmys, meaning he had the honors of getting things started!
The late night host with the most kicked things off by throwing a bit of shade at the MTV VMAs for kicking them out of their Sunday night slot! Ouch!
Seth then turned his sites to HBO which has a whopping 99 nominations! However, he basically pointed out that the cable network will be old news soon enough thanks Netflix! DOUBLE OUCH!
So how did Seth do?? Sure, he did fine and had lots of laughs, but let’s be real here! Amy Poehler and Tina Fey should just host EVERYTHING! Just sayin!
