Bill Cosby's Netflix Thanksgiving Special Has Been Cancelled Over Rape Allegations

At this point, this isn’t too surprising.
Comedy legend Bill Cosby has seen his career revival fall flat on its face because of rape allegations in recent weeks (some resurfaced, some new), and now Netflix has officially ended any chance of Cosby’s thanksgiving special Bill Cosby 77 happening.

Although Netflix claims it is only “postponing” it… instead of premiering it for Thanksgiving weekend!
Here’s what a rep said:

“At this time we are postponing the launch of the new stand-up comedy special Bill Cosby 77.”

It’s unclear if NBC will follow Netflix’s lead as they had a comedy series in the works for Bill Cosby, but it’s unclear if they will go forward with it at this point.
We wouldn’t bank on it though!
This move puts more pressure on NBC to make a decision regarding the new show very soon, and unless things change completely, we don’t really see it happening.
We guess anything’s possible though.
