Kanye West Explains Why He Doesn't Smile & Claims Fashion Is God's Work! Read His Passionate Words HERE!

Kanye West was given the opportunity to speak about fashion last night.
And love it or hate it, you’re going to want to hear what he had to say!!
The fashion-driven man gave an eight minute speech about fashion and design at The Daily Front Row‘s Fashion Los Angeles Awards show in West Hollywood on Thursday, and it was filled with all sorts of fun, juicy niblets.
First, similarly to his wife Kim Kardashian, Yeezus explained why he doesn’t smile.

But while Kim keeps a straight face to ward off wrinkles, ‘Ye’s reasons are far different:

“Back when I was working on Yeezus, I saw this book from the 1800s and it was velvet-covered with brass and everything. I looked at all these people’s photos and they look so real and their outfits were incredible and they weren’t smiling and people, you know the paparazzi, always come up to me, ‘Why you not smiling?’ and I think, not smiling makes me smile…When you see paintings in an old castle, people are not smiling cause it just wouldn’t look as cool.”

Uhhhh…. okay…
So it sounds like he chooses not to smile in pictures so he can smile about his “cool”, stoic face later. Interesting!
Yeezy then went on to explain why working in fashion is doing God’s work.
He stated:

“In my opinion, God is the No. 1 creator, and anytime we create, we’re an extension of doing his work on earth. That’s why we’re here. What can we do for humanity? And you know, in a way, fashion is what defines the time. Everyone has some form of fashion every single day. We have the power to change the world. I believe that through design, because design is the closest to truth, problem solving truth is the closest to love, and love is the closest thing to God, and God is love.”

Makes sense. Or does it??? Ha!

And just when you thought Mr. West’s ramblings couldn’t get any more far-out, he finally admitted that he didn’t even know if what he was saying was cogent in any way.
