The drama never stops for this particular Teen Mom 2 star!
On Sunday, Jenelle Evans faced a bit of heat on Twitter after she made controversial remarks about September 11 on the 15th anniversary of the city’s tragedy. Uh oh!

Initially, the MTV celeb penned:
Flying back from NYC and cannot believe that tragedy happened. 💔😪 #WeWillNeverForget #WorldTradeCenter

Sorry for everyone that lost their family or friends. My uncle retired a week before. I can almost relate. 👼🏼🌤🌇 #NeverForget #Remember911

While Miz Evans’ notes come off as meaning well, it appears her followers did NOT appreciate her “almost” relating to the tragic situation which hit NYC in 2001. Nonetheless, Jenelle attempted to defend herself as she wrote:
“If my uncle hadn’t of retired he would have been dead right now. So no 140 characters isn’t enough to explain.”
Hmm, ok. The brunette beauty added:
“Reason I said ‘almost can relate’ No, I don’t know how much hurt and pain it would cause me. Clearly stated that.”
Still, the young mom may now realize where she faltered as she’s since deleted her defense posts. Although, Jenelle DID retweet a note from a fan who supported her 9/11 remarks (below).

So who knows how sorry Evans ACTUALLY is? LOLz!
Regardless, it looks like the pregnant starlet enjoyed her time in NYC as she was photographed smiling (above) while strolling through the city with her boyfriend, David Eason. Aww!
What do YOU think? Should Jenelle apologize for her tweets?
