The Last Week Tonight host revealed on Sunday’s show his glaring error from a 2013 episode of The Daily Show — he actually ASKED Drumpf to run!

In an adorable but unfortunately naive segment, Oliver — who at the time was filling in for Jon Stewart — talked about wanting The Donald to run so badly, he’d even donate to his campaign!
