In a rare speech on Wednesday, Melania Trump denounced discrimination and violence against women — without one mention of her husband, Donald Trump!
Well, we guess that would make sense considering he’s the WORST…
In the pro-equality address to the International Women of Courage awards at the State Department, FLOTUS called for women empowerment and celebration of diversity… which you know is VERY different from Drumpf’s message.

The native of Slovenia said:
“As leaders, we must continue to work towards gender empowerment and respect for people from all backgrounds and ethnicities, remembering always that we are all members of one race, the human race. Each one of us is uniquely different.”
The event was held in honor of 12 women from across the globe who have overcome injustice and danger to transform their communities in profound ways. Absolutely amazing!
Melania went on to say:
“We must continue once again to shine a light on the horrendous atrocities taking place around the corner and around the globe. We must continue to fight injustice in all its forms, in whatever scale or shape it takes in our lives. Together, we must declare that the era of allowing brutality against women and children is over.”
Is this a rally cry against her husband?? LOLz!
Seriously, though, we can definitely get behind this message — but we can’t help but wonder if The Donald will as well!
