Oprah made the trek from Chicago to Chapel Hill, North Carolina, for a sit down interview with the terminally ill Elizabeth Edwards set to air this Thursday!
Elizabeth is currently promoting her memoir Resilience, set to hit bookstore shelves on May 12th.
Oprah chatted with the wife of former senator and presidential hopeful John Edwards about her husband’s infidelity, but questions mentioning her husband’s illegitimate baby momma Rielle Hunter by name were off-limits in the interview!
The Big O popped the big question we’ve all been wondering: “Are you still in love with him?”
“You know, that’s a complicated question,” Elizabeth truthfully answered in the interview.
“Is it a day by day thing?” Oprah continued.
Explained Edwards, who is battling cancer, “Neither one of us is out the door so I guess it’s day by day, but maybe it’s month by month.”
As far as Hunter naming John as the father of the illegitimate love child, Elizabeth danced around the claim of her husband being the father!
“I’ve seen a picture of the baby. I have no idea. It doesn’t look like my children but I don’t have any idea,” Edwards clarified to Oprah.
Although there hasn’t been a paternity test to determine John as the biological father, how could she ignore such blatant evidence????
