Fran Drescher shared with People that she’s “totally down” to reprise her iconic role in The Nanny, and she already knows exactly who she’d want to play her daughter if there was a revival: Cardi B!

The singer recently posted a head-to-toe Dolce & Gabbana cheetah look inspired by Fran’s role in the sitcom, and it got the actress thinking:
“I was so flattered. I just thought she paid homage to me wearing animal print and said ‘Fran Drescher.’ And then I got my juices flowing and thought, ‘Wait a minute, she’s from New York, we both have funny voices, she could be my daughter!'”
We’d definitely watch this, would you?!
Unfortunately, it seems there hasn’t been as much interest, as Fran explained:
“I don’t know what is going on with some of these networks out there because they do not seem to be hip to the fact that there’s an obsession amongst millennials for the show and moi!”
Cardi would definitely get them talking!!
