Fans of Teen Mom OG didn’t know how to feel when MTV announced it would be adding Bristol Palin and Cheyenne Floyd to the show. The remaining cast members were just as anxious — mostly because they didn’t want to deal with another Farrah Abraham!
Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell, and Amber Portwood vented about their worries during the Monday episode of the hit series before coming face-to-face with their new castmates for the first time.

In a sneak peek of the episode, Amber admitted to feeling that the new additions were brought on because the remaining OGs weren’t entertaining enough. She said:
“It makes me feel like, ‘OK, are we doing something wrong that’s not good enough anymore?’ That’s just my personal, weird anxiety I get.”
The 28-year-old added that they hopefully wouldn’t be “dealing with Farrah s**t.”
Thankfully, the three OGs immediately clicked with Bristol and Cheyenne when they all met later that day. Maci explained to Us Weekly:
“I felt like the media may have put certain tones out there that we weren’t happy about them coming on or happy with them, and I was kind of worried that they would believe that. But I mean honestly, it couldn’t have gone better.”
While Catelynn joked that “anyone’s better than Farrah,” she also had nothing but warm things to say about her new cast mates, revealing:
“I’m going to give them the time day that I give anybody that I meet, and then if you screw me over, then I learn. If you don’t, and we become really good friends, then that’s awesome. But they both seem really nice and I feel like they have a lot to contribute to the show and different types of stories and lives, and that’s the whole point, isn’t it?”
Sounds like these five mommas are a united front… for now.
See how the meet and greet plays out when Teen Mom OG airs Monday at 9 p.m. EST on MTV.
