Private Memorial Planned For DJ AM Tomorrow

DJ AM (born Adam Goldstein) will have a private memorial service slated for Thursday at the Hollywood Palladium nightclub, a venue he was known to rock in his day.

The event is said to pay tribute to the DJ’s struggle with drug addiction by following a format in the style of “an open 12-step meeting.”

The invitation asks of it’s guests:

“Adam’s friends both from his life in recovery, as well as those from other areas of his life are welcome. We ask only that everyone adhere to the tradition of anonymity and let what they hear there, and who they see there, stay there.”

We’re sure that it will be a special tribute to him.
