DJ AM's Mom Says Club Promoters Exploited Son's Name

DJ AM‘s mother Andrea Gross has filed a $1 million lawsuit against YTK Investments, LLC, claiming that they’ve used her son’s name to promote their venues while also refusing to hand over his share of the profits.
DJ AM aka Adam Goldstein became part-owner of one of their Vegas nightclubs LAX back in 2005 and had a contract with the company that stated he would receive 45.5% of YTK’s profits and also granting executives a “limited, non-exclusive licence to use Mr. Goldstein’s name and likeness” to promote the club.
Gross filed papers at the Los Angeles Superior Court this past week, citing a breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, misappropriation of likeness and unfair business damages.
