Did you even know that Akon tried to make a social media website?? It’s true!
The whole thing has been awful for everyone, especially Akon. The website didn’t work out AT ALL, and now a company that worked on it is taking him to court! They’re suing him for $127,000!!!
DAMN!
Atlanta Business Video (least creative business name ever) was hired in 2011 to cut video for “Fantrace” but didn’t get paid — and it’s management like that that’s probably the reason why the site failed! It was supposed to be a place where fans could interact with their favorite celebrities, but didn’t quite make it work.
The company claims they put in 1,023 hours of work, but never received compensation!!
Of course, there’s always a chance that the check got lost in the mail or something… or maybe they’re just trying to rip Akon off! It doesn’t sound like it though, so we hope Akon pays up!
