But now Snoop Dogg is the latest star to stir up some controversy over Caitlyn Jenner.
The California Roll rapper took to Instagram on Wednesday to share his support for Akon, all while slamming Caitlyn with a crazy offensive and transphobic comment.
The snap, while it featured a shot of Akon, read:
“Shout out to Akon! He is about to supply 600 million africans with solar power. Im really upset that this isn’t major news but that science project bruce jenner is #Society.”
So disappointing. Even if he didn’t make the picture, sharing it is just as bad.

C’mon, Snoop!
It’s awesome what Akon is doing, but there’s absolutely NO reason to belittle someone’s life.
He has yet to delete the post, but we’re hoping that he issues a formal apology to Caitlyn and the transgender community. Ch-ch-check out Snoop’s post (below)!
