New sources are coming forward and claiming Alex Cooper‘s husband doesn’t only have issues within their company — their whole marriage is falling apart!
As we’ve been following, all this drama kicked off when ex-pals Alex and Alix Earle reignited their public feud. From there, Brianna Chickenfry got in the mix, and then the Call Her Daddy host’s husband Matt Kaplan was called out for allegedly being rude to their Unwell Network staff. It’s been a wild ride and it seems like EVERYONE is getting their dirty laundry aired out. And that’s a big problem in Alex’s eyes!

A source told DailyMail.com on Sunday this is Alex’s “biggest fear”:
“This is Alex Cooper’s biggest fear: bad press. It matters to her. She wants to control the narrative, always. She is insecure and cutthroat all in one. She really doesn’t have that many friends.”
Even more so, though, there seems to be some problems in her relationship with Matt, too. The insider explained the couple’s unconventional business dynamic:
“Matt pushes her to do things in her business. She doesn’t have a manager. Matt is always in the room. Everything goes through Matt.”
And all this loops back around to a bigger issue in Alex’s inner circle’s eyes. Their romance is apparently in trouble — so much so that the source claimed Matt and Alex don’t even sleep in the same room right now:
“There’s a lot of tension in their marriage right now. Matt fully courted Alex and was so sweet with her in the beginning. Once they moved in together, that’s when things changed.”
Oof.
The insider also believes the couple may have intertwined their business dealings WAY too early in the relationship:
“Those close to Alex wondered why she got engaged so quickly before the Unwell deal was done. Now they see it. Matt is too intertwined with Unwell.”
Oh, man… Not good to hear. Mixing biz and pleasure can always get messy if you’re not careful!
And as far as their Unwell business goes, a woman came forward and told the outlet her experience when interviewing for a position at the company in February 2025. Courtney Babbin told the outlet the whole process with Matt was “bizarre”:
“Alex and Matt truly think they are the smartest people in the world.”
She went on the describe meeting Matt as “the most uncomfortable two hours of my life”:
“If my interview is that rough, I could only imagine what happens behind closed doors.”
Courtney also said that Matt does a lot of the groundwork to keep the company running, because Alex is “often extremely busy keeping her show and other creative projects running.” All in all, she said it’s bound to end in disaster:
“They’re trying to do everything. It’s reality TV, it’s events. He told me all of their business plans, which is bizarre because I didn’t sign a [non-disclosure agreement]. They want to do a full takeover. I think that is inevitably [going] to cause a little bit of chaos and failure.”
Dang!
