Alix Earle has entered the chat.
Last week, Variety reported that Alex Cooper‘s company, Unwell Network, suddenly dropped Alix’s Hot Mess podcast. They even gave up all rights to the show so the TikTok influencer could shop it around. Pretty shocking since Alix has been a ride-or-die since signing onto Unwell Network at its launch in August 2023. She even seemed to be besties with the Call Her Daddy podcaster… until recently!

Fans think there’s been a feud brewing behind the scenes for several months, and some Us Weekly sources doubled down on the “tension,” too. But if this is true, Alix isn’t owning up to it!
She broke her silence on this hot mess in a new “get unready with me” TikTok on Friday, noting:
“This week has been like, meh.”
After sharing that she’d been really sick and needing to rest, she spilled the tea, dishing:
“Obviously, there’s been a lot of chatter online this week about me and work. And I also have no idea what’s going on.”
Wait… what?!
She doesn’t know? So she got blindsided by all this? Double ouch!

Fans have been picking up on a rift between the media personalities for a little while. For instance, they were both in New Orleans for the Super Bowl — but Alix did NOT attend Unwell’s party!
Alix’s father Thomas “TJ” Earle, who works with his daughter, has also been making cryptic comments about having to deal with “a business situation” he “wasn’t happy” about. Us Weekly sources then claimed last week that “there’s a lot of tension” between the women, a second insider elaborated:
“They’ve had a lot of drama between them [since] they decided to collaborate on Unwell. They clashed over business, and their friendship is over because of it.”
TJ was apparently making everything worse too. One source dished:
“Alix’s dad got more involved in her business decisions and did not like what Unwell was doing. He ultimately thought it ended up not being a smart business move.”
Pretty brutal! Considering Cooper just signed a MASSIVE new deal with SiriusXM, this sure sounds like it could’ve been about money. That said, a source also pointed out that “Alix is working on bigger projects not related to the podcast space.” Some even wonder if Alix is ready to move on from the podcast for good. Hmm…
So far, it’s really hard to tell where her head is at! If it’s true she’s in the dark about the podcast conundrum… well, s**t. She must’ve really done something to piss Alex off!!
