Amanda Bynes was arrested Thursday for drug possession, reckless endangerment, AND tampering with evidence…
But even before last night’s cray cray drama, it seems her concerned parents have been inquiring about getting a conservatorship over their obviously troubled daughter!
However, because the retired actress refuses to see a mental health professional and has not actually harmed herself or anyone else (although she totally could have last night when she THREW A BONG OUT OF HER WINDOW), her parent’s getting a conservatorship is most likely not an option.
A source explains:
“Rick & Lynn have met with several lawyers that handle conservatorships in the past month, because they want to get a conservatorship of their daughter. They have been advised that even as disturbing as Amanda├óΓé¼Γäós behavior is, it├óΓé¼Γäós very unlikely that a judge would sign off on a temporary conservatorship.
Conservatorships are very hard to get, and being mentally ill and addicted to drugs isn├óΓé¼Γäót enough. Amanda hasn├óΓé¼Γäót ever been to rehab or ever agreed to see a mental health professional. Her parents are absolutely powerless to do anything at this point.”
Hmmm, well, perhaps after yesterday evening’s insane events Amanda’s parents will have the evidence they need to PROVE the former child star should be placed under a conservatorship!
Either way, it’s obvious that girl needs help!
